How to connect your windows laptop to the WiFi network

 Windows 8 & 10

1. Ensure that your laptop’s Wi-Fi is switched on.
2. Select the Network icon in the notification area (bottom-right corner).
3. When the list of wireless connections appears, select (GWC)
4. When prompted, log on with your college credentials:
   • Username: studentno@mygwc.ac.za (staff will be username@gwc.ac.za)
   • Password: your gwc email account password
5. Select Connect when prompted to Continue connecting.
6. Once you are successfully authenticated, the status will change to Connected. (Note that it may briefly display Limited before this.)

Your credentials should now be stored and you will only be prompted again when you change your password.
